As a crazy beauty enthusiast, I’m always looking for the next best thing to slop onto my skin and cure it all. Recently, a Korean anti-aging line, Saranghae, came across my desk and I couldn’t wait to give it a try. I received their five-step routine and instantly got my fingers in there swatching, testing, and applying all the steps. In the process, you’ll use a cleanser, serum, moisturizer, eye cream, and a sheet mask (obviously my favorite part).
Step 1: Cleanse
I think the consistency of this cleanser was one of my favorite parts. It’s an oil and foam cleanser meaning you get the makeup-removing effects of the oil cleanser plus the deep-cleaning effects of the foam cleanser which is truly ideal for a lazy gal who doesn’t want to have to use two different products. It has truffle extract and real gold (what!!!). The two all-star ingredients have incredible healing benefits for the skin.
Step 2: Apply Sheet Mask (optional)
After cleansing, I like to pop on the sheet mask. Obviously, this isn’t something you need to use every day, but because a sheet mask is essentially just cotton drenched in a powerful serum you can use them multiple times a week without fear that it will be too harsh on your skin. You get serious antioxidant benefits from this sheet mask and tons of hydration from the hyaluronic acid.
Step 3: Apply Serum
After you remove your serum, you can pop on this radiance serum or just use this on the days where you don’t use your sheet mask. This deeply penetrating serum goes down into the dermis layer of your skin to give nutrients to the cells and help them stay happy and healthy. It works wonders when it comes to healing and regenerating the skin by balancing the skin’s pH, hydrating dry, flaky patches, and increasing blood circulation.
Step 4: Moisturize
No matter what skin type you have, using a moisturizer is mandatory. I can’t stress that enough!! I really liked this cream as it helps to keep the skin firm and plump. Even if you’re in your 20s or early 30s, using anti-aging products can be great because you prevent the signs of aging from becoming prominent before they even start. This also helps to reduce any swelling, redness or age spots in the process while obviously keeping your complexion hella hydrated.
Step 5: Apply Eye Cream
Even if you don’t have any eye issues such as dark circles or fine lines, using a preventative eye cream can help to keep it that way! I love to use this eye cream on my clients because I feel like I can instantly see a difference in their undereye hydration and the firmness of them which is super important to help their makeup look the way they want it to.
