While I’m the type of girl that’s all about an oversized, cozy sweater, dresses will still always be near and dear to my heart. In the summer, I’m almost always in one (I literally hate shorts) and I really love any excuse to wear dresses for winter.
While it may seem impractical because it’s so cold outside, I think a dress like this is perfectly fine as most of the time I’m only going to be outside from the time I was out of my car into the place that I’m heading to so it’s perfectly manageable. Obviously, it makes the most sense to wear dresses for winter with a coat layered on top.
The second I saw this dress while perusing around Forever 21, I was drawn to it and knew I needed it in my life. This is the thing I love about F21 — finding the super unique pieces that no one else has. I’m also a huge fan of the affordable retailer for trendy pieces like this one that I’ll probably wear 2-3 times and then never again. Spending any more than $50 on something thing I know probably won’t be in style next year is just out of the question for me. So for now, I’ll be over here, smiling because I only paid $37 for this dress and I can twirl around in it all season long.
Again, as I mentioned in my post the other day, neons are everything to me in the winter because I get SO bored so quick. I knew that if I wore a pair of black heels this outfit would be just too monochromatic. I tossed on a pair of red booties and definitely think it completed this outfit perfectly. What do you think?
